From the Staff Development Center Staff: 

 

Guests may check in on Saturday, October 24, and the latest check-out time will be October 26 at 8:00 a.m. due to scheduled training. Late check-out will not be authorized this year. The lodging rate is $70 per night for single occupancy and $90 per night for double occupancy.

All lodging requests must be submitted via email to JESTC@la.gov. Please note that the Staff Development Center cannot process payments over the phone. Payments may be made in person at the front desk, or guests may remit payment by check or money order.

We also request that guests refrain from making lodging reservations until mid‑August.

The JESTC has “all the accommodations and amenities of a high quality hotel “

1. Lodging- Single or double occupancy available at the JESTC Staff Development Center.  Call them at 225/658-2618 to make your reservations.
2. Meals- Match entry fee includes breakfast and lunch on match day, and match shirt.  Dinner service not available on site.

Directions to the JESTC

• From Baton Rouge Metro Airport: Head south on Veterans Memorial Blvd and take slight right to merge onto I-110 N toward Natchez. On I-110, take Exit 8C onto US-61 N. Follow US-61 N for 5.5 miles, then turn left onto W. Irene Rd. JESTC entrance will be 1.7 miles, continue 0.7 miles to Staff Development Center.
• From I-10: From I-10, merge onto I-110 N (signs for Business District/Downtown/Metro Airport). Follow I-110 N for 8.8 miles then take Exit 8C onto US-61 N. Follow US-61 N for 5.5 miles, then turn left onto W. Irene Rd. JESTC entrance will be 1.7 miles, continue 0.7 miles to Staff Development Center.
